Varador l’Escala completes refit service of the Armic

The Varador L’Escala team has recently completed its refit service on the Armic, a five-metre long Pascual Islas Medas 25 model llaut. The process has given a new life to a timeless classic made in 1981 with fibreglass and that was in the facilities of the Club Nàutic L’Escala.

After being put in the hands of the multidisciplinary team of professionals at Varador L’Escala, the Armic now looks spectacular and is about to fulfil the dreams of a new owner.

The work carried out on the Armic goes far beyond aesthetics. On the one hand, it guarantees the robustness of its structure and its performance on the water. On the other hand, elements have been incorporated to improve comfort on board.

The hull was painted and a coat of antifouling was applied, while the deck woodwork was restored and given an anti-slip finish. The engine was removed to be repaired and repainted and a new rudder was also fabricated.

Improvements included the installation of a bathing platform with a new shower system at the stern, the incorporation of the navigation light system and the manufacture of the wooden structure to support the bimini top during the hottest days.

All the services in a single point

During the refit process, specialists in carpentry and fibreglass repair and painting, treatment and application of antifouling paint to the hull, mechanics, installations and naval electricity have been involved.
